Dubrovnik is a historic walled city on the Adriatic coast and UNESCO World Heritage Site, nicknamed the 'Pearl of the Adriatic.' Getting around

The Old Town is completely pedestrianized; from Port Gruž, take local buses 1, 1A, or 1B to reach the Old Town, or walk via sea taxi.

What to eat

Restaurants and cafes line the Placa Stradun street; expect prices to be approximately twice as high as in nearby Montenegro.

Tips

Purchase a Dubrovnik Pass (€40 for one day) which includes City Walls entry, most museums, and unlimited bus travel, saving €5 compared to buying separately.
